1998 Beaulieu Vineyards Reserve Tapestry Napa

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and petit Verdot.  This wine has a good amount of fresh plowed earth here on the nose, fine herbs and roasted coffee notes to the dark plum and currant berry fruit.  A big and chewy wine on the tongue with a nice balance and freshness to the finish, echoing the spice and earthy quality from the nose through the finish packed with ripe berry and plum fruit.  Finish 45+    Excellent +
