2009 NxNW North by Northwest Colombia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 2% Malbec in both French and American oak from a variety of vineyard sources like Wallula, Alder Ridge, Coyote Canyon, Seven Hills, Heather Hill and Pepperbridge.  A classic Washington state bouquet of dark cherry and currant berry fruit on the nose with notes of dark coco and sweet tobacco spice.  A good amount of dark currant berry, fruit with nice structure and the tannins still a bit dry on the finish but plenty of fruit here this wine needs to open up.  Finish 40+             Very Good +
