1977 Inglenook Reserve Cask Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, USA

Winemaker Notes: Mature, old-style Napa Cabernet from one of the valley's original producers, around the time that Dennis Fife headed the then Heublein-owned winery, in between the "glory days" of the Daniel regime, and the resurrection of Inglenook under the ownership of director Francis Ford Coppola. In fact, Coppola bought the old Daniel residence a few years before, in 1975. Even now, some people still fondly remember this era of Inglenook.
