(94 Points) Lots of cassis, graphite, chalky minerality, and sappy herb notes emerge from the 2019 Château Pibran, a rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated Pauillac. I love its purity of fruit, the balance is spot on, and the tannins, while present, are perfectly ripe and polished. It's not a blockbuster and shows the more elegant style of the vintage, but it's a gorgeous, classy Pauillac that will benefit from 4-6 years of bottle age and have 25+ of prime drinking.
