2016 Chateau Lilian Ladouys St Estephe

A big of a green vegetal note to the nose with cigar box spice some fresh earth and red currant berry fruit on the nose.  This next bottle does not have that green vegetal note that the first one which was a corvined example. 45 hectares of vines and the vineyard was spread out over the appellation and they have consolidated the vineyards to make them more contiguous, giving them more Merlot 60% and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.  this wine has a beautiful bouquet of fresh earth, tobacco and coffee notes.  Very smooth red currant, red plum and fresh earth, fine tannins, drinking very nicely right now, lovely balance.  Finish 40+    Excellent
