2015 Monte Faustino Amarone della Valpolicella

(93 points) A gorgeous bouquet of black cherries dusted in cinnamon sugar and cocoa mixed with rosy florals lifts up effortlessly from the 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico. Its textures are like pure silk with a complementary display of ripe red berries, exotic spices and sweet herbs. This heady experience continues throughout the long and lightly structured finale, where hints of black licorice and violet pastille linger.
