2005 Trabucchi d'Illasi Dandarin Rosso Veneto IGT
(89 points) The 2005 Dandarin is 70% Corvina and 30% Teroldego and Syrah. Dark fruit, grilled herbs, tar and licorice emerge from this very pretty, vibrant red. The wine possesses lovely overall balance even if some slightly angular qualities remain. Floral notes add lift on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2013.
