(89 Points) Ostertag’s 2007 Riesling Heissenberg exudes smells pungently of resinous herbs and a hint of tar, along with lemon and tangerine zests and crushed stone. Spirited both in energy and in its allusions to distilled-strength herbs and pit fruits, this finishes with sizzle, bite, and bitter, oily cling of white pepper, sage, crushed stone, and citrus rind.
