(92 points) The 2009 Pinot Noir Moon isn’t quite as elegant as the 2008. Dark red berries, licorice and spices are some of the notes that flow from this juicy, bright Pinot. The wine’s open, generous expression of fruit comes through nicely on the round, pliant finish. Some of the aromatic delineation and sheer textural finesse of the 2008 is missing, yet this remains a beautiful wine all the same. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2019.
