2015 Sella & Mosca Vermentino Di Sardegna La Cala

A bit of a spritz here from a bit of CO2 left in the wine intentionally. This is the largest winery 550 hectares of vineyards the second largest contiguous vineyard in europe and this producer is over 100 years old , 50% of the wines the produce are drank locally. You get a little briny character in the nose along with pineapple and notes of ginger sipce and white flowers this is the same grape family as Pigato and favorita. A light and refreshing white with a slight spritz to the finish and a light briny note, this is a textbook Vermentino, it has that typical minerality and briny character from vineyards close to the sea.
