2014 Movia Pinot Grigio Brda Slovenia

The boarder decided after WW2 and then BRDA was created this means Collio (the hills), these vineyards are actually on the Italian Side of this region. A good amount of tree fruit on the tongue with a smooth texture and wonderful concentration for a Pinot Grigio, wet stone like minerlaity and this wine feels like it has some tannins, this wine spends 3 years in barrels, they use thicker oak to give less of the oak influence, they don't have any of the new wood taste but rather just the oxidation. Very rich and decatdent on the palate, very long and layered, creamy texture but has a firm hand of acidity to keep this wine balanced with a long layered finish. Finish 45+ 8000 bottle produced 30 hecotliters per hecatre, they own 30 hectares. Most Excellent
