Only 628 cases produced of this clone 8, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a very forward and seductive vintage but these prichard Hill wines are very big and lots of earth on the nsoe along with espresso and dark mocha spice on the nose, this wine needs a bit of time to open up and is even bigger on the second day. A big and chewy wine onthe palate, this wine is showing its mountain heritage and the juicy fruit of the 2012 vintage. Juicy red currant and black cherry fruit with layers of dark coco , espresso and fresh plowed earth minerality very long and layered finish, this wine needs some time though a bit dry at the end but has everything in proportion, give it 10-15 years in the cellar.
