2011 Tenuta Sette Cieli Yantra Toscana Monteverdi Marittimo

This is a relatively new project the bought property in 1994, planted and the first vintage was 2004. There are only 14 acres planted on this 173 acre estate and only 5000-6 bottle cases total production. They are organic certified and the vineyards are only 8 miles to the sea at 1300 feet above sea level. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% merlot aged in stainless, easy to drink with a good amount of dark cherry and plum fruit with dark earth and tobacco spice. A fresh and fruity wine with soft berry and plum like fruit smooth tannins and a short but pleasant finish hints of earth and tobacco spice. Finish 35+ Very Good
