A blend of 40% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Counoise, This wine has that classic garrique quality of the southern Rhone even though it is from California, fresh berry pie like fruit and a host of pretty floral notes, smoke and a note of wild game, a sort of savauge nuance. A smooth and silky wine on the palate with a good amount of that berry pie fruit, very rich and ripe with even more concentration on the second day, notes of sweet herbs and a host of that floral character from the nose through the finish. Finish 45+ Excellent +
