2011 Chene Bleu Aliot Vaucluse

Only 1500 bottles of this unique white wine were produced in 2011 and they coferment these three grapes; Rousanne, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne. This wine has one foot in the south and one in the northern Rhone this wine has an array of ripe tree fruit and bracing acidity naturally good with artichokes, asparagus, sage crème sauce, quince and other ripe tree fruits, candied pineapple and orange zest, pretty floral notes, ripe melon fruit, toasty honey comb richness to the palate, and some forest like vegatal notes, very complex and even better on the second day. This wine has incredible richenss on the tongue with layers of fruit, spice, minerality and that pretty floral notes, a bit of a waxy texture to the tongue but also has a firm hand of acidyt very well built.
