2010 Flying Goat Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard Santa Maria Valley

This is the frist vintage from this famous vineyard site in Southern California, one of the oldest Pinot Noir vineyards in the state and it is all Martini clone on its own rootstock. A good amount of spice on the nose complimenting the black cherry and black raspberry fruit very exotic and nuanced bouquet with pretty floral and minty highlights. A very intense wine on the palate, plum and cherry fruit with a silky velvety like texture, red berry fruit, oriental spices and pretty floral/minty notes with lovely intensity and a long finish. finish 45+ Most Excellent
