2010 Angulo Innocenti Unisono La Consulta Mendoza

2010 was the first vintage, they bought the property in 2001 to go back to the families roots as the second generation got out of the wine business only 500 6pks produced and this is a blend of 67% Malbec, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc consulta has long hot days and cool nights so it is perfect for Bordeaux varietals with a whopping 15.5% alcohol this wine has a very rich and ripe currant and cassis berry fruit on the nose, black licorice and some pretty violet floral notes, new leather. A big and chewy wine on the tongue with a good hand of licorice spice and dark coco notes, has a nice balacne to the finish although it is a bit hot. Finish 45+ Excellent
