2009 Zenato Cormi corvina Merlot

A unique single vineyard blend from this famous amarone producer. This wine has a dark intense bouquet of cherry liqueur, roasted meat and dark spices very complex. A big and rich wine on the tongue with dark berry fruit, thick and chewy on the tongue with ripe round tannins, very plush but also has nice freshness and dark spices, roasted meat notes through the finish, nice length and big but still fresh at the end, very well built this wine could use a bit of bottle age, chalky dry notes at the end.
