2009 Tenuta Arcanum Toscana

This is a blend of 68% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon , they have 220 acres under vine here and this is one of the top new names in Tuscany from our friends at the Jackson Family of wines. This wine has a good amount of fresh herbs, dried mushroom and light red currant and dark cherry fruit, very complex bouquet. This wine has a good amount of red and black berry fruit on the second day much more open and drinkable with an array of fresh herbs, earth, licorice spice, graphite and dry tannins on the first day but still a bit dry right now, this wine has pleanty of fruit it just needs some time or a nice steak.
