This is one of the first of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blends made in the Columbia Valley, 76/24 blend respectively. A good amount of dark cherry and plum like fruit on the nose with sweet tobacco spice and a good hand of fresh plowed earth and some mocha spice. A good amount of ripe berry fruit on the tongue with smooth round tannins, nicely balanced and already starting to drink nicely, the warmer 2009 vintage produced juicy fruity wines but they still have nice freshness and balanced to hold for another decade in your cellar. Finish 40+ Excellent
