2008 Valdicava Brunello di Montalcino
Vincenzo's efforts the last few decades have earned Valdicava a spot among the top producers in Montalcino. The estate is located in the coldest part of the Brunello zone and covers around 10 hectares. He is a perfectionist and manages vegetation so that each grape will enjoy the perfect amount of sun and even in average vintage this wine is outstanding. This wine shows the more forward nature of this vintage but the wine is still quite large in size with the structure to last over a decade in your cellar- actually Vincenzo guarantees that his wines will age gracefully for your entire life, that means that his wines will outlive you. This wine is Most Excellent every year and deserves the attention of every serious Brunello lover.
