2007 Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Rioja Reserva Blanco

a Blend of 90/10 Viura and Malvasia both the white and red are made the same way, they use 225 liter barrels that are older barrels, they have their own cooper and they age the staves at the winery for 3 years. This wine spends 5-6 eyars in oak and then the bottle for 4-5 years, a unique prepration for a white, they are all estate grown wines they own 240 hectares, a very intense nose of almond and leesy oxidative notes but still has some fresh fruit here pear and red apple. Creme flan notes to the candied tree fruits with a nice hand of acidity still quite fresh wtih pretty carmel notes on the finish. Finish 45+ Excellent +
