2005 Tenuta Loacker Corte Pavone Brunello di Montelcino

A very rustically fashioned nose with lots of fresh plowed earth dried porcini mushroom and barnyard like aromas on the nose dark plum and cherry fruit. Lovely concentration and depth of fruit on the palate with lots of black spice tar and new leather black truffle, a big and tannic wine this wine that needs some time but has all the right stuff. some smoky meaty notes coming out on the second day, this wine is drinking nicely now but should last another couple of years in the cellar easily very nicely balanced. Finish 45 Excellent +
