1998 Tenuta Silvio Nardi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Tuscany

Rich red cherry berry fruit, wild strawberry and some light meath notes along with black spices/tar nuance. A very well built wine on the tongue with big tannins here but also a solid core of wild strawberry fruit, pretty rose petal floral notes and wonderful freshness and balance, a big wine but still elegant, dry tannins at the end but has a solid core of fruit, a great vintage for Montalcino but this wine needs time, tar black spice through the finish.
