85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot 24 months in new French oak and a portion is barrel fermented here a bit richer with a good amount of currant and cassis berry fruit along with an array of earth and spice, only 800 cases produced this wine is very rich and concentrated on the palate, big and chewy but has lots of everything and in deft balance ripe rich layered fruit, decdent toosty oak spice, fresh plowed earth and a firm hand of acidity holding things together through the finish, very drinkable but could use a few years in the cellar. Finish 50+ Most Excellent
