2012 Two Old Dogs Cabernet Sauvignon Napa

This is the entry level wine from the folks from Herb Lamb Vineyards, this wine has a good amount of leather like aromas with dried herbs and red currant berry fruit, this is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, a nice peppery spice coming out on the second day along with some tobacco notes. A very balanced wine on the tongue, red currant and plum like fruit, silky tannins with notes of tobacco spice and coco at the end,opening up nicely and a bit of that peppery spice and a vegetal note at the end on the second day.
