Phil Coturri is the farmer and winemaker is Julia Iantosca and she worked with Merry Edwards. All organically farmed estate vineyards this wine is a blend of 78% Syrah, 12% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre, this not a saignee this is made more like a Cotes de Provence or Bandol Rose. All wines are French named and they have been making wine on the property since the 1800's some of the vines are over 100 years old. This wine does have a nose like a rose from southern France, light red berry fruit, very pretty notes of rose petal floral highlights. Juicy strawberry and raspberry fruit on the tongue, finishing bone dry with those pretty floral notes through the finish. Finish 35+ Very Good
