2021 Hartford Court Zinfandel Old Vines Sonoma

This is a very famous vineyard site in Sonoma and these 100+ year old vines, a little heavy on the Petite Syrah a little heavier and a bit more funk in the nose, sweet tobacco spice and dark brambly earthy notes very balanced aromas dark berry fruit earth and a nice hand of floral and spice notes. A bright and fruity wine on the tongue blackberry fruit with a bit of that funk on the finish a zesty spice laced finish, very balanced big fruit but a zesty mouth watering finish.
