2016 Martinelli Giuseppe & Luisa Zinfandel Russian River Valley

The 2016 Zinfandel Giuseppe and Luisa is pale to medium garnet-purple in color with a nose of prunes, spice cake and Christmas pudding with touches of sandalwood and mocha. The palate is full-bodied, rich and tantalizingly spicy with firm, chewy tannins and a tart acid line sparking the long finish. (LPB)  Review Date: 04/2018
