2020 Alban Seymour's Syrah Edna Valley

(98-100 Points) As with the Lorraine release, the 2020 Syrah Seymour's is a monster of a wine offering more density and depth than normal while staying balanced with classic Seymour's structure. This inky purple-hued beauty offers a gorgeous perfume of pure cassis, crushed stone, graphite, and ground pepper. Full-bodied, massively concentrated, and pedal-to-the-metal on the palate, it has building tannins and a solid spine of freshness that keeps you coming back to the glass.
