2022 Domaine Serge Laporte Sancerre

Located in the heart of Chavignol, Domaine Serge Laporte has been in this family for seven generations, now in the more than capable hands of Serge’s son, Guillaume Laporte, who took over as winemaker some ten years ago. The estate comprises some 32 acres, planted to both Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, from which Guillaume makes a white, a red, and a rose. His white is classic Chavignol, refreshingly crisp, loaded with citrus, with a touch of herbs and honey and a striking mineral finish.
