2022 Alphonse Mellot La Moussiere Sancerre

A biodynamic certified since 1999 and they have been in busines since 1513, the 19th generation, they own 72 hectares of vineyards with a very precise bouquet of tropical fruits with hints of chalky mineral notes kimmerigian Limestone over marl the vines are 60+ years old a bit richer than most Sancerre.  This is the main Cuvee and they do make a red from Pinot Noir and a rose.  A rich and creamy wine with a firm hand of acidity and that distinct chalky mineral quality tongue tingly minerality.  Finish 45+          Excellent +
