2013 Vineyard 36 Cane Estate Sauvignon Blanc Napa

This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from two premier vineyards. in Calistoga and Rutherford. About half of our Sauvignon Blanc is aged for a few months in slightly used French oak barrels and the rest is exclusively in stainless steel. This blending of oaked and stainless fruit results in a bright, silky, and complex wine. The citrus and tropical notes of the wine are dominant, but there is a textural richness as well, keeping the wine in balance and making it a wonderfully versatile wine to pair with a multitude of foods.

   The light straw color entices one to take the first sip. From that first sip the fruit coats your palate with flavors of peach and pear. At mid palate, a little pineapple comes through with light and well-balanced acid, and a finish of soft tropical sorbet.
