2012 Chateau Auney L'Ermitage CANA Graves Blanc

This wine is made from a 1 hectare plot with gravel and Clay soils. A blend of 50% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon blanc, 10% Sauvignon Gris and 5% Muscadelle and seees the same oak regiment, 9 months in larger oak, a mix of new and older. A bit riper and fruitier in style has ripe fig and apricot like fruit, pink grapefruit, and pretty white flowers along iwth gravelly mineral notes. Nice richness on the tongue, a smooth and creamy texture with with a tangy finish, a nice touch of oak spice, lovely balance and length on the finish. finish 40+ Very Good +
