2022 Valdicava Rosso di Montalcino

WINEWATCH TASTING NOTES: The 2022 Rossi has a beautiful bouquet of black cherry, balsamic and hints of herbs and mushroom along with aromas of eucalyptus, tea leaves and violets.  On the palate the tannins are soft and well integrated, a good amount of ripe succulent fruit from the first sip on the finish this wine might seem a bit austere but the more it breathes the more refined it becomes with a silky and elegant finish on the pallet. Very approachable and ready to drink, but will age for a decade or more in the cellar.  Finish 45+    TASTING DATE 9/21/24  Excellent +
