2019 Castello Del Terriccio Lupicaia Tuscany

(95 Points) The Castello del Terriccio 2019 Lupicaia is a thickly concentrated effort, with inky black fruit, black licorice, balsam herb and rosemary essence. The wine also has a pronounced floral side that is quite uncommon. I am reminded of lavender pastilles and rose hip. The wine does not close too heavy; indeed, it remains streamlined and sprightly throughout. The character of the wine is a little more accessible and immediate overall.  Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
