This is the fifth largest producer in Tuscany and this 2010 vintage is outstanding in Montalcino, fifth Generation family owned winery 1882 founded and this is the best value that I have had from this KILLER vintage. Classic tart red cherry fruit, notes of herbs, sage and porcini mushroom and dried rose petals. Smooth and quite forward and drinkable for such a great vintage with fine tannins and a nice freshness and spice to the finish, lots of tart red chedrry and wild strawberry fruit. This wine could last for a decade in your cellar but is one of the most drinkable 2010’s that I have tasted. Finish 45+ Excellent
