2019 Riise Peace Paso Robles

(95 Points)  The 2019 Syrah Based Blend is 75% Syrah and the rest a mix of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 26 months in 70% new barrels. Blackberries, peppery herbs, graphite, and some spicy wood notes all define the bouquet, and this beauty is full-bodied, with a plush, sexy texture, ripe yet substantial tannins, and a great finish. Give it a few years and enjoy over the following decade or more. It's a classic, ripe, yet perfectly balanced Paso Robles Syrah.  Review Date: 09/2022, Jeb Dunnuck
