2013 Jean Luc Colombo Bartavelle Chateauneuf Du Pape

A blend of 45% Syrah - 35% Grenache - 20% Mourvèdre.  Round and flamboyant, Les Bartavelles (The Partridges) is grown on the rolled pebble terroir of Châteauneuf du Pape.   Has a failry complex bouqeut of fresh berry pie fruit, dried herbs and flowers that garrique quality of the Southern Rhone, dried meats.  A very light and refreshing style with a good amount of red berry fruit, a nice hand of spice and naunce, not at all light in the compexity department with a long finish some tannins coming out at the very end.  Finish 45+ Excellent
