2023 Domaine Jean Grivot Vosne Romanee

(88-90 Points) The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Village is quite understated on the nose. Forest floor scents mix with incense as red berry fruit tones gently unfurl in the glass, though it doesn't make too much of a fuss. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, pretty red fruit mixed with blood orange on the entry and moderate weight. It is finely balanced with a dash of white pepper on the finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you'll have a lovely Vosne Village on your hands. (NM) Vinous, Reviewed November 2024
