2015 Louis Jadot Le Musigny Grand Cru

(from 90+ year old vines in a parcel measuring .32 ha). Here too the wood is so strong that it essentially crushes the underlying fruit. There is however superb density of material supporting the borderline huge yet almost inexplicably refined flavors that brim with dry extract while delivering incredible persistence on the mineral and palate drench finish that simply goes on and on. Like the Grands Ech this is a massively constituted Musigny that is going to need a very, very long time to reach its full majority but I hope that I’m around to see it when it does!
