2012 Domaine Francois Gaunoux Les Epenots Pommard Premier Cru
This 2012 vintage has a bit more of that wild and savage character along with a spicy and ferrous earthy quality to the bouquet complimenting the dark cherry and plum fruit. Not as forward and fruity, this vintage has some tannins here on the finish and a good amount of that animal character lingering through the end along with that ferrous earth a firm hand of acidity.
