Proust noted that hail damage ruined about 15% of the crop but that Bouchard took no chances and declassified about 50% of the total. Relatively strong reduction dominates the nose though there is ample body and richness to the suave yet precise flavors that exude a fine minerality on the very ripe finish that offers excellent volume if less complexity than usual.    Review Date: 06/2011
