2023 Littorai Pinot Noir Savoy Mendocino

(95 Points) The 2023 Savoy is still finding its way in the bottle. It shows a wild character, with earthy, savoury notes of black tea, damp soil, and bay leaf interplaying with bright, high-acid flavours of tart red berries and citrus pith. It’s both generous and fresh. The tannins are firm, giving the wine grip now and promising balance with time. A lift of dried lavender on the finish ties it all together.
