2021 Intentus Pinot Noir Terra De Promissio Sonoma Coast

The 2021 Intentus Pinot Noir, Terra de Promissio Vineyards bottling comes from the enchanting Terra de Promissio Vineyards, situated on the steep rolling hills above the Petaluma Gap within the eastern regions of the Sonoma Coast AVA in Sonoma County. Planted in 2002 and farmed sustainably by the dedicated Karren family, this vineyard has optimum sun exposure for increased fruit intensity and concentration while the winds and dense fog layers coming from the Petaluma Gap slow maturity and allow for an extended hangtime producing wines of incredible length and balance.

Just 4 hand-picked rows of Pinot Noir clone 115 were used in this year's bottling of Intentus. Whole berry fermentation, 20% stem inclusion, gently punched-down by hand, aged on the lees in French oak barrels.
