On the nose the 2018 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is earthy and elegant. It shows expressive tannins and dark red fruit, bearing all the hallmarks of a great New World Burgundy. The palate is soft with swarming notes of bramble fruits, cherry pie, and cranberries. While it is vibrant and delicious in its youth the focused tannins suggest aging with grace. French oak has contributed a velvety softness without masking the lovely red and black fruit characteristics.
