Medium ruby-purple, the 2019 Pinot Noir Flax Estate features rich red and black cherry fruit on the nose with tones of cinnamon, underbrush, potpourri and loads of spicy accents. The medium-bodied palate is concentrated and silky with bright bursts of acidity and a very long, layered finish. It continued to get better in bottle over several days, so give it another 2-3 years for more layers and earthy accents to unfold. (EB)
