Coming from two blocks in a site on the Sonoma Coast, the 2019 Pinot Noir Chappellet Grower Collection Fedrick Ranch was destemmed and saw the usual 45% new French oak regime that's standard at this estate. Plenty of darker cherry, ripe strawberry, and currant-like fruits as well as spice, sassafras, and sappy flower notes emerge from this beauty, and it's medium-bodied, with an elegant, seamless texture, integrated acidity, and just a balanced, seamless, undeniably delicious profile.    Review Date: 07/2021
