2018 Rochioli West Block Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

The 2018 Pinot Noir West Block, from vines planted in 1969, has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and lush cranberry sauce, blackberry pie, underbrush, cured meats and a spicy undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate manages lush, ripe fruits without going over the top. It has a silky texture, is very fresh and finishes long and spicy. (EB)   Review Date: 07/2020
