2018 Arista Ferrington Vineyard Pinot Noir Anderson Valley

The 2018 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard comes from 30-year-old vines in Anderson Valley and was made with about 27% new oak. Medium ruby-purple, it's scented of dark cherries, blueberries, bergamot and gravel dust with undertones of fir. Medium-bodied, grainy and seamlessly fresh, it offers intense, powerful fruits and a broody streak of graphite on the long finish. (EB)  Review Date: 11/2021
